Early Childhood Education

Early childhood education is described as an important period in a child’s development. This is also known as nursery education. Nursery education is a branch of education theory that relates to the teaching of children from birth up to the age of eight. Traditionally, this is up to the equivalent of third grade.

Kindergarten according to educationists is a time when children learn critical, social, and emotional skills and a partnership is formed between the child, their parents and the teacher. This aims at the holistic development of a child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs in order to build a solid and broad foundation for lifelong learning and well being.
